Our team will work with you to craft the event that reflects your personal style and vision.
Maple Lawn Farm
Welcome to Maple Lawn Farm, a showplace for Kentucky’s rolling hills and the beauty of agriculture. Maple Lawn Farm has been in our family for over 50 years and we are so happy to be able to share it with you for your special event.
I grew up one of ten children and we spent most weekends out of the year working on the farm. Though Maple Lawn farm was originally a dairy farm, we raised beef cattle back in the day, mostly Herefords but some Black Angus. I also raised horses growing up, mostly Apaloosas and Quarter Horses. We also raised enough corn and hay to feed our herd and we raised Tobacco at one time. In Spring there were crops to plant and spring calves to attend to. In summer we took care of the animals and baled hay. In the fall we harvested the corn and tobacco and repaired fence. In winter, we made sure the cows had hay and grain to eat and we repaired equipment.
Today, Maple Lawn Farm is 220 acres and each year there is either 100 acres of soybeans or corn grown on the property, that my dad still does all by himself. The rest of the land is covered in beautiful green fields and woods. Only 30 minutes from downtown Cincinnati, 10 minutes from Florence, KY and yet a world away.
Event Areas
There are three main areas on the farm for your event. Each is adjacent to a unique structure. These are:
Maple Lawn House - Maple Lawn House is a vintage inspired farmhouse the construction of which was completed in 2016. It’s a beautiful backdrop to your special day.
Maple Lawn Cabin - Maple Lawn cabin and the surrounding woods and fields make a beautiful event venue. The cabin has been dated to pre-Civil War. Almost 30 years ago, we took the cabin down, log by log and stone by stone and moved it to the beautiful spot on which it rests now. It is comfortably furnished and the rustic logs and gorgeous stone create a unique feel for your event.
Maple Lawn Barn - The Original Maple Lawn Barn offers another lovely site for your event. The land is naturally flat and there are gorgeous views of almost the entire farm.
